Development of Bus Routes Reorganization Support Software Using the Naïve Bayes Classification Method

Reorganizing city bus routes is generally accomplished by designing supply methods to meet passenger demand. The method involves establishing and planning their schedules. actual route reorganization decisions are not determined simply balancing demand supply, but based on other complex interests, such as that must exist for welfare where profits low. Machine learned prediction models could be helpful when considering factors in the decision-making process. Here, Naïve Bayes algorithm was applied develop classifier model because of its applicability, even with a limited amount training data. As input characteristics algorithm, data each individual were featured cleansed improvement decisions. A number classification created changing sets then compared terms performance accuracy, precision, recall. Modeling tests conducted show how classifiers form supervised learning can help work. Results from local governments’ study used train test proposed machine model. main contribution this study, developed support shortening route, using algorithms research case verified an automatic classifier, or initial decision proposal software, provide intuitive research.
